What are the differences between the content sets?
The main difference is that SureSpec utilises the NCS codes. SureSpec also has a wider range of content than SpeedSpec. SpeedSpec is suitable for residential up to small scale commercial projects. SureSpec is suitable for residential, industrial, commercial projects and more. SureSpec is especially beneficial to practices working on government projects where NCS codes are mandated.
What is SureSpec content and what projects is it used for?
SureSpec (developed from SpecPack) contains content for larger projects with more complicated systems. For example, SureSpec is suitable for hospitals, schools, commercial offices and multi-residential projects. It can also be used on high-end residential construction projects where a detailed specification is required.
What is SpeedSpec content and what projects is it used for?

What is the National Classification System or NCS?
The National Classification System (NCS) is a structure used to classify your project specifications. While the NCS is maintained by NATSPEC, you do not need to use NATSPEC to create specifications. With SureSpec, you get the same project benefits and user familiarity of NCS codes, with the smart features of ArchifySpec.

To start using ArchifySpec all you need to do is subscribe. ArchifySpec is cloud-based, so there’s no need for anything to be installed on your computer. Specpack has been migrated into our new content set, SureSpec. This is to accommodate for all project sectors.

SureSpec content is updated regularly by our team of expert Technical Authors. We also provide links to standards so users and recipients can check the currency of the reference documents for the content they are using at any time.
How often will the SpeedSpec content be updated?
SpeedSpec content is updated annually by our team of expert Technical Authors. We also provide links to standards so users and recipients can check the currency of the reference documents for the content they are using at any time.
Is ArchifySpec compatible with object based modelling tools?
We are working on an integration with leading object based modelling tools Revit, ArchiCAD and Vectorworks. This feature will be available very soon, subscribe to our mailing list to get notified of all ArchifySpec updates.
What does cloud-based specification mean?
Instead of having static specification documents stored on your PC, your specifications will be dynamic documents that are stored in the cloud. You can access them from your choice of browser on your laptop or PC. It also means multiple people can collaborate on specifications at the same time, with a full audit trail documenting design decisions and revisions history.
