The main difference is that SureSpec utilises the NCS codes. SureSpec also has a wider range of content than SpeedSpec. SpeedSpec is suitable for residential up to small scale commercial projects. SureSpec is suitable for residential, industrial, commercial projects and more. SureSpec is especially beneficial to practices working on government projects where NCS codes are mandated.

SureSpec (developed from SpecPack) contains content for larger projects with more complicated systems. For example, SureSpec is suitable for hospitals, schools, commercial offices and multi-residential projects. It can also be used on high-end residential construction projects where a detailed specification is required.

The National Classification System (NCS) is a structure used to classify your project specifications. While the NCS is maintained by NATSPEC, you do not need to use NATSPEC to create specifications.
